A Thank You To My Mother

A mother is a person who plays a very special role in our lives. Whether it be a mom, step-mom, grandmother, aunt, etc. We each have a motherly figure in our life & it's very important to let them know that they're appreciated. 

Thank You For Being A Shoulder To Cry On

Many nights I found myself alone in my room, bawling my eyes out over a breakup, actually feeling my heart breaking. You always woke up to be there for me until I could calm down. You lost a lot of sleep staying up to hold me & tell me that everything was going to be okay. I thank you for being there for me in my roughest moments.

Thank You For Helping Me Pursue My Passions

No matter what I wanted to do, if it made me excited & happy you were more than willing to be my biggest supporter & help me in any way you could. If it was a passion of yours, you were determined to teach me everything you knew. By giving me ideas & helping me push my limits, I thank you for helping me reach toward my goals.

Thank You For Taking Care Of Sick Me

Along with rough heartbreak nights, you were always there with my immune system would give up on me. You'd make me a cold towel to put on my neck after being hunched over the toilet with a stomach bug. Toast & ginger ale were made quickly to make my tummy feel better when I would begin to feel queasy. Whatever medicine I needed to start feeling better, it was handed to me right away. You always take care of me, thank you for that.

Thank You For Being The Best Advice Giver

Whatever I happened to be going through, you always knew not only the right things to say, but you had the right advice to give me. Thanks to you I know a lot about how relationshipswork & plenty of life lessons. You've given me advice that will stick with me for the rest of my life & that I hope to share with my future children.

Thank You For Loving Me Unconditionally

I have plenty of flaws, but as my mother you manage to look beyond all of them by loving me while I still grow & try to better myself. Thank you for helping me work to become the person I want to be.

Thank You For Being My Best Friend

This is the most important thank you I have to give. When something happens, good or bad, you are always the first person to know. You let me vent & cry if I needed to when I was going through a tough time. As my mother, you put me in my place & tell me things I may not want to hear but need to.

You're my best friend & I don't know where I'd be without you.
