Another Year, Another Trip to NOLA
A year ago, I based one of my first blog posts on a trip to NOLA, this year I had another trip to document in my travel diary!

After Jacob got off of work, we began our two & a half hour trek to New Orleans for a quick trip. Once there, we checked into the Sheraton & got changed. Our room had a BEAUTIFUL view of the city & the Mississippi River!

Dragos was our location for dinner that night. I didn't take any pictures of the food, because I wanted to enjoy the company that was around me!
Although I wasn't very hungry I still ordered an appetizer to nibble on, the fried gator was so delicious dipped in their remoulade sauce!

On Wednesday the boys got up early to go to their golf tournament & Ms. Anna & I decided to go shopping at the Riverwalk Mall. The Riverwalk is an amazing area to shop in & more often than not, the high end stores are always having awesome sales!

After shopping, we went back to the hotel to get cleaned up & ready for the fancy dinner we had that night.
Once ready, we loaded up on a bus & headed to an all inclusive dinner at Ruth Chris, thanks to Ms. Anna's bank. I have to say, we all clean up pretty nice!

For my first time at Ruth, I have to say that the food is DEFINITELY up to par! Jacob & I's favorite part of the meal was absolutely the Blueberry Cheesecake. Wow. Best thing I've ever had! (Clearly we were too excited to take a before picture LOL.)

We wanted to do a little tourist sight seeing of the city.
See, I told you we'd make it to the original Cafe Du Monde. It was my first time ordering coffee with my beignets & that is definitely the drink I will be ordering from here on out! Be careful though, the coffee comes very hot!

After our yummy breakfast, we walked around & shopped until it was time to head home.

An amazing trip thanks to Jacob's parents for inviting us to tag along! Another year, another trip full of memories. I can't wait for more of these adventures to share with you all!
Lots of Love,
