Roatan, Honduras | Travel Diary
Honduras was hands down the PRETTIEST place I've ever traveled to...or so far at least! Here are our adventures in Roatan, Honduras:

Pulling into port was a definite WOW factor for all of us. The views of the port from the ship were breathtaking.
Spot the Roatan Flag!

Hello, Daddio! Making sure we get that good pulling into port video footage!

Our excursion was the Best of Roatan Island Tour, which started with a boat ride showcasing multiple shipwrecks. Along with that we saw homes, mangrove trees & the cutest little boat docks!

These ships had gotten stuck on the reef trying to bring supplies to the island. While another ship came to assist, that ship had ALSO gotten stuck on the reef trying to help. The natives still needed the supplies so they used rowboats to retrieve the wood from the crashed ship back & fourth to the island.

After the boat ride, we we're brought to a hangout area for drinks & to chill before our next part of the tour. This area was perfect for a photoshoot!

Even Jacob modeled for me!

Once it was time, we hopped back on our bus to continue on our tour! They had us stop for a great photo opportunity, this view...just WOW.

Our second to last stop was to visit was Punta Gorda, to meet the descendants of a combination of Carib Indians & Africans who have kept up with their traditions to this day: The Garifuna's. The Junkanoo & The Punta, showed us their native song & dance. Us tourists we're asked to be a part of it!
These people have so much history that you should definitely research & learn more about!

We were then brought to see some traditional homes that we're beautifully made.

QUICK! SPOT THE BANANAS IN THE BANANA TREE!
